A fantastic collectin of Adam Ant's best stuff. This is all you'll really need to enjoy the wonderful world of Antmusic! Sadly, he's now homeless somewhere in the world suffering form mental illness. Or so I've heard. I do hope hegets help and is okay. May not have been earth shattering music, but it sure was fun. Another reason why the 80s were so cool!

A downside of the 80s was the mindless Top 40 drivel that was belched out continuously throughout the decade and morphed into teen rock, dance rock, boy and girl "bands" (they only sang - with the help of studio enhancements - they didn't play instruments), rap, and hip hop. And it probably started right here, along with Journey and REO Speedwagon. However, this is a really good album, and if you have to have some Top 40, you could do worse. A LOT worse.

A total surprise, and proof positive that rock 'n' roll is not completely dead. It's still palpitating out there! AND, coming from a predominantly alt-country boy, this album rocks harder than anything that came out in 2003. Go figure!

American Noise was one of a handful of Cleveland bands that scored recording contracts in the early 80s (see MSB, Wild Horses). Some good stuff here, some mediocre, too. Take the good with bad, I guess. Anyway, for early 80's pop and a touch of the North Coast, give 'em a try.

With the success of Power Station, the rest of the Durannies decided they better do something as well. Hence, Arcadia. Most laughed, but I thought it was pretty good. Basically a Duran Duran album, but their was a moodiness that hadn't graced the earlier Fab Five releases.
