| One
of THE best Power Pop albums of all time! From the remains of The
Raisins came a phenomenal band. Adrian Belew, who produced The Raisins only official album, said he always wanted to be in a power pop group circa 1966 Beatles, and this was it! The only drawback is that the album is too short: under 40 minutes. But then again, the Beatles albums were about that same length . . . . |

| The Bears' second album was a little more adventurous; not in the King Crimson mode that Belew is used to, but more than just straight ahead pop songs. An excellent album from excellent musicians and songwriters. The BEars rank among the world's best groups ever. | ||||||

| FINALLY!
After 13 years, a new Bears album! Some great news in a world gone
mad with teen pop and hip hop. The boys haven't lost their touch . . . in fact, they've improved with age. Here's hoping the next one doesn't take 13 years to make! |

| Y'know,
I grew up on live albums. Frampton,
Rush, KISS,
Wings. Live albums were
always issued as a sort of Purple Heart to the fans. You know -- this is our gift to you, the fans, for supporting us. If you couldn't afford to go to the show, there was always the live album. In the 80s and 90s, the idea of the live album waned severely and virtually disappeared from sight. Just think then, how refreshing it was for The Bears to release a live album from their 2001 reunion tour! Wonderfully capsulizes the event and is something I'll treasure for years to come. |

| The
Bears are incapable of putting out a bad album. The tallent is just
too great!. Sadly, we never know if we're going to be blessed with another Bears album, so this one may be it. But, luckily, the boys get together and do this for the sheer joy of it, for the love of creating great music together. No corporate label interferring, demanding that ever elusive "hit". Just four friends doing what they love and giving it their best. PLEASE go to www.thebearsmusic.com and get in on what the rest of us in Ohio know - The Bears (and their affiliated projects; see below) are what music's all about. |
