There is nothing better than a strong debut album from an artist. The Kick Inside is Kate's first record - a mature, breathtaking collection of excellent songs. It doesn't get any better than this. My favourite Kate
record of them all.

There is nothing worse than trying to follow up a strong debut with another stellar effort, yet Kate does it with
ease. All of that talent and at only 19 years old, too. Plus, she is SUCH a babe!

After 12 long years, Kate Bush is finally back, AND with a double album! The first disc is a collection of
songs, a few which touch on the subject of Kate's life over the last decade: being a mum. Nice, but nothing
to write home about. In fact, I was kind of worried about the rest of the album after disc 1 finished. I really
thought that Kate had lost it. Then, disc 2 begins and caresses you, reminding you that Kate knows what
she's doing and all you have to do is trust her lead. If you do, you'll be rewarded with incredibly intelligent,
gentle, beautiful, and emotional soundscapes that literally take you to another plane of existence. You must
purchase this album.
