Brilliant! From the guys who brought us The Young Ones, "Bad News Tour" was broadcast in the UK on
The  Comic Strip in 1982 - a full TWO YEARS before Spinal Tap.GREAT lampooning of the heavy metal
genre and bands trying to make it in general. Hilarious!

Interesting. The first side is Martin doing his club routine, and the second side is a stadium concert. Don't
like the stadium concerts for comedians., The sound is horrible, and a lot of the sight gags comedians use
fall flat in arenas. That being said, the best side is the first side. Yes, the novelty tune, 'King Tut' is here, and
30 years later, its still a riot!

Released at the height of their popularity on SCTV, Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas created a cultural
phenomenon. They even reprised these personas for the Disney animated movie Brother Bear in the
2000s!. What's really cool is they got Geddy Lee of Rush to come in and record vocals for their hit single,
'Tale Off.' While this may be a little dated, it does bring back fond memories of high school (so few of those
as it is) and the early 80's innocence. Love this album!

The pop-culture referencing comic at the beginning of his career. Still a member of the 'Saturday Night Live'
cast, Miller had just started doing the Weekend Update segments and they were the best since the Chevy
Chase;Dan Akroyd
/ Jane Curtin days. Here, he takes his act on the road .

A friend of mine, Craig Marks, wrote the majority of the material for Zot Theater. This was a creation he
and a few friends had while in college and was aired as a show and as little vignettes on the campus radio
station, WAUP88.1 FM (still in operation but under different call letters now. WZIP I think). Anyway I'm on a
few of these - can't remember which. Maybe it's the next one . . . - probably dated, but again, it brings back
fond memories of college and it was a fun, cool thing to do.
