The End
The debut of one of rock's most dark and disturbing groups. Quintessentially 60s, it's hard to believe that
this record was released in the year of 'the Summer of Love.' It doesn't get any further from that happy
notion than 'The End.' Still, this remains their best and most coherent album.

The Doors' second album didn't really do anything to endear them to the masses. True, there were two
singles off the record, but overall the album is even darker than their first.
